Collection: I Love Color Collection

I was born in Poland in 1979 during communism and trust me it wasn’t colorful at all. At that time everyone in Poland was getting food stamps to be able to purchase few products so it supposed to be enough for everyone. You could simply purchase few kilos of flour, sugar etc. Usually stores were empty with nothing to buy. I remember having two dolls from which I was scared of one, can’t remember any other toys. I always dreamed of art supplies and got very little but can clearly remember my excitement when my neighbor bought me a market set. I cherished it for years until all markers dried out. Life in Poland was hard, poor and gray. Looking at my market set I was choosing my perfect colors one by one.... turquoise, orange.... dreaming of a sketchbook, paints and brighter future.
